Working with them at home, and offering tailor made personal assistance at the races to ensure consistency. By engaging us from the start, for the best start usually eliminates behavioural problems occurring, nipping issues in the bud before they become tricky but we appreciate this isnt always possible. We work to reset these horses by working out why they are behaving the way they do, then working with them and you to overcome them in a lasting and sustainable way.

Behavioural Specialist
Working with a number of NH trainers after a short but successful stint riding as an Amateur, Jake was head hunted by the industry renowned expert Gary Witheford. It was here he honed his trade and realised his calling – the disappointment of being unable to make the weight to race was replaced with satisfaction of winning in a different way! Co founding CandJequine with Craig Witheford, he has been instrumental in the success of numerous and notable runners and now seeks to make his own mark in the racing industry.
Tom Howell
Stalls Specialist
Tom began his racing career at 15yrs old under classic-winning trainer M.A. Jarvis, building a solid foundation in horsemanship. Over the years, he gained expertise in breaking young horses, riding fast work, and training in starting stalls, with experience in the USA, Dubai, and Australia.
Spending two seasons with Godolphin under Charlie Appleby, managing the stalls department, sharpened his leadership and attention to detail in race preparation.
